The Brunswick Golden Isles Airport (BQK) is located six miles north of downtown Brunswick and boasts an 8,000-foot runway and offers multiple daily flights (through Atlantic Southeast Airlines, a Delta Connection) to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, as well as general aviation services through Manning Aviation. In addition to the Brunswick Golden Isles Airport, businesses in Southeast Coastal Georgia enjoy close proximity (one hour’s drive at most) to two international airports at Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL. Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) is Georgia’s second busiest airport and has U.S. Customs available for any direct overseas flights. Like Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) provides non-stop flights to major U.S. cities, which includes flights connecting to international destinations.

McKinnon St. Simons Airport (SSI) has two active runways (4/22) at 5,800 feet long and a runway (16/34) at 3,313 feet long. The airport has several non-precision approaches to provide bad weather access to the island as well as a visual guidance system to assist pilots on their landing. The airport is home to Golden Isles Aviation, the fixed base operator that is designated an Exxon Avitat dealer.

Davis Field Airport (3J6) serves Folkston and Charlton County and is owned by Charlton County. The unattended airfield has a 2,500 feet bituminous runway, aircraft tiedowns, hangar, lighted runway, and paved MSL (68 ft).

The Jesup-Wayne County Airport (JES), owned by the County and managed by SutAir, offers a 5,000 feet bituminous runway, aircraft tiedowns, airframe & power plant repair, hangar, lighted runway, NDB, and is attended 24 hours a day.

St. Marys Airport (K4J6) serves St. Marys and Camden County and is owned by St. Marys Airport Authority. Attended 8 hours a day, the airport offers two asphalt-paved lighted runways (one 5,000 feet and one 4,000 feet), tiedowns, and FBO services.

The Brantley County Airport (4J1) is owned by the Brantley County Airport Authority. The 3,000-foot asphalt runway is currently being extended to 4,000 feet through an Air Georgia grant.
