As home to Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, Camden County has a constant influx of willing and capable workers. With the retired military personnel from the base as well as military spouses, there is a sizable number of highly qualified and trained persons in this labor pool. About 52% of Camden County’s adult population boasts an educational attainment beyond high school, further illustrating the quality of the labor pool. These individuals are willing to work for competitive wages and are not confined to nine-to-five hours, but are willing to work various shifts.
